From Brooklyn-based artist and designer Liz Collins comes this attention-grabbing beach towel. Woven in Austria from 100% cotton terry in eye-popping hues of red and blue. the Cracked Towel boasts a dynamic pattern inspired by the fractures of a broken mirror. The cracked pattern started out as a drawing. then turned into an embroidery prototype that was translated into a textile. The Liz Collins Cotton Cracked Beach Towel measures 71l x 40w. Machine wash warm. tumble dry low. Wash before using.
Collins’ work will be featured in the MoMA exhibition Woven Histories: Textiles and Modern Abstraction. on view April 20 through September 13. 2025.
